Labor Day Sunday Laziness

Despite a crazy week last week, with a few surprises included, tis a lazy Sunday. Kitten flops everywhere. Havoc slept anywhere warm and inactive last night during dinner with a friend. Even now he is splayed out next to me. 

Yesterday I satisfied myself with organizing and cleaning our kitchen.

 

Sick & Sleepy days

What do you do on days when you're so sick you can hardly move ? I dragged myself to work Thursday and Friday, but otherwise I've slept for over 10. Hours each day... Not eating much, but trying to keep up vitamin c etc levels. 

My husband has been. Very helpful and understanding... Cats only partially so. 

The most important thing

Family. It's what makes us, holds us and influences how we're shaped.

How many people kickstart their day with that delicious (or not) energy?

I for one have started sleepy from either a short nights sleep, or a very interrupted one, and turned to coffee for energy.

Birthdays come as does rain. I love the rain... And it's been pretty wet around here. 

My husband had an important interview Thursday, the day before his birthday. I took a quick shot to brag about his good looks.

I was ill Wednesday and was able to grab this shot at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Rainy days excitement

Rainy days are here and they are better than ever !! 

Misty wind and grey skies are my favorite... Especially when my husband serves espresso and macaroons for desert. My kitties like it too!!
